Your data

Privacy policy

What the project receives while the site, the launcher and the game server operate — without vague wording.

Last updated 16 September 2026

The site has no advertising trackers, analytics, social pixels or cookies of its own. No external fonts or scripts are loaded either.

1. Visiting the site

The web server’s standard technical logs may record the IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested address, the response code and browser details. This is needed for diagnostics, protection against attacks and stable operation.

2. Your game account

On registration the server receives your username and password over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The password is immediately converted into a game-compatible verification form and is never written in plain text or to the site’s logs. For login and character operation the server also processes game data, technical event history and any restrictions applied. Do not use a password from your email, bank or other services here.

3. The launcher

The launcher contacts piratia.net and patch.piratia.net for server status, news, the signed file list and updates. To verify integrity it reads the installed client’s files locally. It is not designed to read personal documents.

4. What the data is used for

  • providing access to the game and preserving progress;
  • delivering updates and showing the server status;
  • finding bugs, preventing abuse and protecting the infrastructure;
  • handling support requests.

Data is never sold to advertising networks. It may be passed to infrastructure providers only to the extent needed to run the server, or under a lawful request from authorised bodies.

5. Retention and protection

Data is kept for as long as necessary to run the account, maintain security and resolve disputes. Access is restricted by technical and organisational measures. No online service can guarantee absolute protection, which is why a unique password matters.

6. Questions and requests

You can send requests for information, correction or deletion of the data we hold through the support section. To protect an account, proof of ownership may be required.
